How to get to the Gasr: On the Tataouine road towards Maztouria and Ez Zahra, after 19 km, turn left towards Ouled Soltane.
Suitability for tourist visits: This Gasr is one of the most important. It is arguably the most photogenic Gasr. It absolutely deserves a visit. Gsar Ouled Soltane is a fixed stop in the program of the International Festival of Saharan Gsour.
Location of the Gasr in its environment: The Gasr is located on a peak, not far from the ancient Berber fortress-villages of Tazeghdanet, Techout, and Béni Oussine.
Date of Gasr creation: The Gasr is ancient, approximately 4 centuries old. 1111 H - 1699 AD.
Number of ghorfas: 287 ghorfas.
Number of floors: Mostly 3-4 floors.
Number of external doors: A single entrance with a Skifa.
Architectural state: The complex was completely restored starting in 1993.
